Starting my own design business at home (invitations, birth announcements, etc.)? - design your own invitations

I am looking for suggestions on how you start working on my own home business in the shaping of birth announcements, invitations, business cards, etc. How can one begin advertising for the company? What are the first steps to get up and go? They suggest that the printing and outsourcing, whether you outsource more good proposals published on the website?
